This unit is designed to accept both 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SATA hard disk drives and can be connected to the computer via either USB or eSATA. It is compatible Serial ATA II specification 1.0 with an eSATA transfer rate of up to 3.0 Gbps. The unit is also USB 2.0 compliant with a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps and is backwards compatible for use with USB 1.1.

The unit is fitted with a power switch, power and access LEDs and is supplied complete with a UK specification 12V 2 amp power supply unit, USB 2.0 cable and eSATA cable.

Supports Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista and Mac OS 10.3 or higher.
